About DISORDER - TEATRO MUNICIPAL DO RIO DE JANEIRO - 1992
"DISORDER came to prove we can believe in a viability of a concert that is intentionally aesthetically chaotic... It deconstructs the classical temple to the point of opening on the stage an abyssal hole full of iron structures and to construct high towers and inclinations where the actors and dancers must work". PROGRAM MAGAZINE - March 26, 1992

About THE DIVINE COMEDY - MUSEUM OF MODERN ART OF RIO DE JANEIRO - 1991

When it was announced that the Actors Dancers Company of Regina Miranda de Janeiro was to present a version to the DIVINE COMEDY at the Museum of Modern Art, one shuddered at the audacity of the project. Those who knew Regina Miranda, the companys director and dance coordinator of the Museum, were cautious. Miranda was far too intelligent to try to choreograph Dantes work per se, but she was nonetheless successful in evoking the atmosphere of the epic poem... DIVINE COMEDY was a happening, a work that because of its unusual nature will probably never be repeated. But it shows a new Miranda, full of vision and directorial skills to match her considerable choreographic talents." DANCE MAGAZINE - November 1991

"The actors and dancers of Regina Miranda, with this LIFE RISK have many moments of authentic creativity and intelligent scene solutions. A difficult and serious work, with no concessions, where the dance demands meditation from the audience. DANCE II - June 28, 1989

About the film OPERA DO MALANDRO - 1986

"On the OPERA DO MALANDRO a film by Ruy Guerra - 1985 and lyrics by Chico Buarque de Hollanda two things are impressive in the film: the choreography and the music, both coming from the action needs". ESTADO DE SO PAULO - May 16, 1986

"On the whole, 250 people between actors, dancers, "samba passistas", acrobats and "capoeira players" dance through the hands of Regina, she made the option of giving to her choreography a style linked to the popular and ballroom Brazilian dances, with no submissions to American patterns. The result is brilliant, beautiful to see and stimulates dancing and singing" AFINAL - December 30, 1986

"The best is mainly the choreography, away from the American style. It captures the Brazilian rhythms. Red samba on a flamenco atmosphere. Straight column and bouncing hips. Tango saignant ! Bon !" LIBRATION - July 03, 1986

About NOTURNO (Nocturn) - 1986 - PERFORMED IN ALL THE MAIN THEATERS OF THE PRINCIPAL CITIES OF BRAZIL
